JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. (KCTV) - A Johnson County man accused of contaminating food at a Leawood restaurant has been sentenced to more than a decade in prison.

Jace Hanson was sentenced to 11 years and 4 months in prison by a judge on Thursday. The sentencing followed a July guilty plea on 22 counts of criminal threat, criminal damage of greater than $25,000, and 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a child and possession of child pornography.

Hanson was first taken into custody after contaminating food when he worked at the Leawood Hereford House between March 26 and April 25, 2024.

According to an affidavit, someone reported Hanson to the FBI after he allegedly posted videos online. The tipster said the video showed Hanson spitting in food , stomping on food, and rubbing food on his bod
