Greenock Morton manager Dougie Imrie and his partner have raised a massive £18,000 in memory of their baby daughter Remi. ‌

Remi was born 14 weeks early and went straight into the care of the neonatal unit at University Hospital Wishaw . ‌

She weighed just 1lb 4oz at birth on July 30 but rallied and was getting stronger despite having multiple infections. But she tragically succumbed on August 19. ‌

Dougie and his partner Lauren McCreaddie returned to the Lanarkshire hospital to hand over the incredible donation to the team who supported them.

Morton boss Dougie, 42, said: "We'll never be able to thank the staff enough for everything they did for Remi and for us.
