I had an office fling gone wrong several years ago. I thought he liked me, but the loser turned out to be lying about being in a relationship, and had also hooked up with two other female employees. One of the others complained to HR when she discovered his lies. I didn’t get involved, but this was determined NOT to be a company issue and was considered to be “poor personal conduct” and nothing was done. At one point, dude approached me and said he didn’t understand why I was pissed off at him, and told me not to take it so personally since he lies to everyone. I put in writing that he was not to communicate with me
