I would be cautious about giving President Trump praise for the much anticipated Gaza peace agreement. To paraphrase, he threatened to obliterate Hamas if they didn’t come to the table. This course of action would no doubt have led to even more Palestinian deaths. We can’t forget that this is merely a ceasefire. Israel has an embarrassing record for ignoring ceasefires and peace agreements.
