Richard Propes is an activist, author, minister and motivational speaker. He’s a two-time cancer survivor, double amputee and quadriplegic, and he’s spent the bulk of his life inspiring and advocating for others.
He’s also a bit of a grump and a self-described lone wolf. Though generous with his time and quick with his wit, Propes needs to decompress on his own after spending time with others.
But with a film crew following his every move, Propes had to give up that precious “me time.”
“That wasn’t going to be perfect. I do have a trauma background, and I do have my issues,” Propes said. “It was kind of learning how to let go of that.”
