WEBSTER, N.Y. (WROC) — All along Webster’s charming Main Street, the shop faces reflect the town’s long history. Nestled among them is Harmony House—an entertainment staple for generations.
"It’s a very historical building, so I think it brings an element of just the deep history of song here," says Eagle Scout Richard Caso of Troop 356.
The Harmony House building was original built in 1899 as the Webster Grange Hall. The grange movement was part of a national agricultural society's founding in the 1860's. The group had thousands of regional branches and each was made up of farmers and other workers in the agricultural sector to promote public policies in their favor.
The building now serves as home to Chorus of the Genesee—a musical group that includes Richard's dad as a singer. This m
