A Haitian man found guilty of raping a 15-year-old girl last year at a hotel serving as an emergency shelter for migrant families in Rockland, Massachusetts, will be sentenced in Plymouth Superior Court on Friday.

Jurors deliberated for a little more than five hours before finding Cory B. Alvarez guilty of one count of aggravated rape of a child with a 10-year age difference last month. The trial lasted four days.
