A charity night Oct. 20 at a Belleville restaurant will support the Children’s Safety Village of Belleville.

From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., 10 per cent of all sales at Belleville’s Boston Pizza will be donated to the village, the charity announced Friday.

The village provides free, hands-on safety education programs for children and youth across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.

“This partnership means a great deal to us,” said Rachelle Baldock, executive director of the Children’s Safety Village.

“Every dollar raised helps us continue teaching essential safety skills — from fire and bike safety to internet and home safety — empowering children to make safe choices every day.”
