A Maine woman was arrested late Wednesday night after allegedly driving almost twice the legal speed limit while impaired behind the wheel on Route 25 in Ossipee, New Hampshire.

State police say they received a report around 10:23 p.m. for a vehicle traveling 107 mph westbound in a posted 55 mph zone.

The Hyundai Venue was located and pulled over for a traffic stop, during which the driver, identified as 36-year-old Alisha Bernice Timmons, showed signs of impairment, according to police.
