HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- An Evansville man has a $1,000 bond after speeding and fleeing police officers on the Lloyd Expressway.
According to an affidavit, a police officer was enforcing the speed limit on the Lloyd Expressway on October 9 near Division Street and Englewood Avenue. The officer says he saw a black Ram 1500 driving at 94 mph in a 50-mph zone around 7:24 p.m.
Officials say when the officer began to chase, the truck began to accelerate and weave throughout all three lanes of traffic without using a turn signal, including driving onto the shoulder when all three lanes were blocked by traffic. The officer eventually pulled over the vehicle near Division and Read Streets.
