KILLEEN, Texas — A Killeen man with a prior felony record was arrested late Thursday night after allegedly shooting at a state trooper which led to an hours-long manhunt , Killeen Police said.

A check of Bell County court records shows Jonathan David Burr was arrested in 2022 on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Burr plead guilty and was sentenced to 10-years of community service in June 2024.

Burr also has three misdemeanor convictions on his record for criminal mischief, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.
