Volunteers behind an annual fundraising car show in Reece’s Corners already are making plans for the event’s 10th anniversary in 2026.

Recently, they donated $8,250 each to Pathways Health Centre for Children and the Sarnia District Humane Society from the proceeds of this past summer’s car show, and vendor sales events held during three long weekends at the Country View Motel and RV Resort.

Car show coordinator Tammy Haslip said they’ve donated more than $50,000 in the last few years alone.

“We do vendor sales here at Country View on Canada Day weekend, Civic (Holiday) weekend and we did one again on Labour Day weekend,” she said.

“We have about 20 vendors out here. We cook some hot dogs and sausages and raise a bit of funds for the charities of choice.”
