CANTON, Ohio — Brian Francisco II, the suspect in Thursday’s active shooter incident at Versailles Gardens Apartments , was arraigned Friday, Oct. 10, in Canton Municipal Court.

During the hearing, a $1.1 million bond was set. His next hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 10:30 a.m.

Francisco is facing the following charges:

1 count of felonious assault (F1)

2 counts of felonious assault (F2)

2 counts of improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation (F2)

1 count of inducing panic (F4)

According to the North Canton Police Department, there was no known connection between Francisco and the victim and no motive has been identified.
