LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -- A teen was charged with attempted homicide after allegedly shooting another person at a Lancaster park this week, police said.

Lancaster City Police said 16-year-old Jay-quan Williams was charged as an adult in connection with the shooting at Culliton Park, located at 260 W. Strawberry Street.

A gunshot victim was found at the park after officers were called to the area for a shooting. Police said the victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Other than attempted homicide, he faces charges of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, possession of a firearm by a minor, carrying a firearm without a license, and person not to possess a firearm, according to police.
