Southwest Airlines is adding new seasonal service and expanding flights out of Pittsburgh International Airport to some Florida and California destinations next summer.

The airline announced nonstop service between Pittsburgh and Destin-Fort Walton Beach International Airport starting on June 6, 2026, according to PIT's news publication, Blue Sky News.

The flights to Florida will take off on Saturdays through August 2026.

Southwest is also increasing its Pittsburgh-to-Orlando International Airport route from four to six daily flights.

Nonstop service to San Diego will also increase from one to four times per week, the most nonstop flights the airline has offered to the California city since launching Saturday-only service last year, according to the airport.
