LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Three Las Vegas Valley principals sent letters to parents regarding the arrest of a juvenile related to social media threats on Friday.
Each of the letters—sent to the parents of Anthony Saville Middle School, Brian and Teri Cram Middle School, and Shadow Ridge High School—said the threats had circulated over the past 24 hours.
Clark County School District police made an arrest in connection with the threats. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officials said they assisted CCSDPD with the event.
“Students who make threats to a school can be charged with making a terrorist threat, among other serious crimes,” Gary Bugash, principal of Cram Middle School, wrote in his letter to parents.
