LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles has launched a form to report vehicles operating on Nevada roadways with expired, invalid or no registration. Users can also report Nevada residents driving with illegal out-of-state plates.
DMV officials said the form is not intended to report abandoned vehicles, traffic violations, unsafe driving, stolen vehicles, parking violations or other DMV-related issues.
“I think this report form is so beneficial in so many ways,” said J.D. Decker, chief of the DMV’s Compliance Enforcement Division. “We get so many calls, inquiries, and complaints daily about civilians noticing unregistered vehicles on the roads and what can be done about it and now we finally have a solution.”
