SALISBURY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A Rowan County man was arrested after authorities reportedly discovered large amounts of meth and marijuana at his home.

According to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, on Sept. 23, deputies received a Crime Stoppers tip regarding suspected narcotics distribution on Phillip Street west of Salisbury. In response, investigators from the Vice/Narcotics Unit conducted a "knock and talk" at the residence.

During the contact at the residence, investigators developed probable cause to obtain a search warrant. That resulted in the alleged seizure of more than five pounds of marijuana, approximately 30 grams of methamphetamine, several marijuana vape cartridges, and approximately $25,000 in cash.
