The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood warning at 3:45 p.m. on Friday valid from Sunday 2 p.m. until Monday 8 p.m. for Westchester County.
The weather service states to be ready for, "1 1/2 to 2 1/2 feet of inundation above ground level is likely in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline."
According to the weather service, "Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth."
