On Friday at 3:45 p.m. a coastal flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Sunday noon until Monday 6 p.m. for Nassau County.

The weather service describes, "2 1/2 to 3 feet of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline."

The weather service adds, "Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth."
