LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - An arrest has been made in connection with a homicide that took place in the St. Dennis neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3200 block of Teakwood Circle at around 1:21 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7.

At the scene, police found Alesha Reed, 33, who directed officers to her bedroom, where the victim was located. LMPD says the victim had been shot and was declared dead at the scene.

According to an arrest citation, investigators found items broken on the floor that appeared to have been knocked over, which seemed consistent with an altercation. The shotgun that was used to shoot the victim was lying in the corner of the room, away from the body.

The investigation determined that Reed was the only person
