LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The University of Louisville inaugurated the institution’s 20th president on Friday.
Dr. Gerry Bradley was named president earlier this year, following the resignation of former President Dr. Kim Schatzel at the end of March.
Before being appointed as UofL President, Dr. Bradley previously served as the executive vice president and university provost.
Dr. Bradley says he’s committed to making UofL the best it can be.
“It’s a celebration of the University of Louisville, a celebration of our present, our past and our future,” Dr. Bradley said to the inauguration crowd. “It is a time to reflect on all our accomplishments and challenges of the past. It is a time to reflect where we are today and where we want to go. The university is not merely a campus; it is a li
