SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A former youth basketball coach will remain in prison the rest of his life after he was sentenced on 11 counts of statutory sodomy, statutory rape and child molestation today.
Antwuan Lavell Looney, Sr. was sentenced to three life terms with the possibility of parole for first-degree statutory sodomy, statutory rape, and statutory sodomy.
In addition, he was also sentenced to 15 years each for three counts of first-degree child molestation, seven years each for two counts of second-degree statutory sodomy, and two four-year terms for first-degree child molestation.
Looney’s total consecutive sentence equals 187 years in prison, with the possibility of parole after serving the minimum required portions of each life term.
