MADISON (WKOW) -- A woman who was convicted of an attack on a Madison Metro bus driver was sentenced to serve time in prison.
At a sentencing hearing on Friday, court records show a Dane County judge sentenced Raeven Johnson to three years in prison in connection with the attack. She was also ordered to serve an additional three years on extended supervision.
Johnson, 26, of Madison, pleaded guilty to attempted battery of a public transit operator and second-degree recklessly endangering safety for the February 2025 incident .
Police said Johnson was riding a Metro bus and became angry with the driver when she realized the route would not stop at Rimrock Road. She hit him several times while he was driving, which caused him to lose control and crash into the Asian House restaurant a
