The Broomfield Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a candidate forum Wednesday night at the community center where all 12 council candidates answered resident-submitted questions.

The forum was moderated by chamber member Jenifer Freeman, who founded the consulting business Constellation Strategies. The event saw an audience of about 100, according to Pat Monacelli, the chamber’s president and CEO.

Affordability, strategic growth and government transparency were recurring themes for the event, with candidates agreeing on their importance even when differing on the best strategies to address those issues.
