AFFTON, Mo. - Multiple railcars for a train derailed Friday afternoon in Affton near Weber Road and New Hampshire Avenue.

Investigators say the train derailed around 4:30 p.m. HAZMAT crews have been called to check out tanks on the train.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area as crews work to investigate the derailment and clear the scene. The area is currently blocked.
