CORINNE CITY, Utah (ABC4) — Corinne City is looking for its first "pet mayor," and animals of all breeds and sizes are allowed to enter the race.

The Corinne Historical Methodist Church Museum Restoration Project shared that the event is for fundraising and entertainment purposes only.

There is an entry fee of $10 for one pet, or $18 for two pets. Proceeds will go directly to the restoration project, and families can enter as many pets as they want. It's also not limited just to Corinne residents; it's open to anyone who wants to support the Restoration Project.

So far, the restoration project shared that they have 16 dogs, four cats, three chickens, one goat, one llama, and two horses in the race.
