AFFTON — Hazmat crews from multiple jurisdictions are responding to a train derailment here, near Weber Road and New Hampshire Avenue.

Three train cars derailed and crews are checking the contents for hazardous materials.

Crews responding include Creve Coeur, Maryland Heights, Pattonville Fire District and St. Louis County.

One resident nearby said the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. and it rattled his windows.
