Police are expecting minor traffic disruptions in Canberra following a planned protest march from Sunday noon.

ACT Policing said it is aware of the protest activity in the City and Parliament Precinct, and minor traffic disruptions may occur as the march moves from the City to Parliament House.

Drivers are advised to consider their route if they do not want to be delayed while driving in the area, police said.

The protest march is expected to start by noon on October 12, from the City before moving along London Circuit, then to the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge, and is expected to conclude at Parliament House.

People heading to Floriade can expect temporary delays in accessing the spring festival. However, police have confirmed there will be no disruptions to visitors accessing the site.
