ACT Policing extradited a 35-year-old man from Sydney on Friday to face sexual assault and aggravated robbery charges in Canberra.

Police said that, in April, officers responded to reports that a man had been tied up and robbed at a residence in the ACT.

Following investigations, police alleged that a man had drugged a 37-year-old man before binding, gagging and sexually assaulting him multiple times.

He also allegedly stole numerous items worth approximately $84,000 from the house.

On Friday, October 10, 2025, officers from ACT Policing's Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team, along with NSW Police, arrested the man on an outstanding ACT arrest warrant at his residence in the southern Sydney suburb of Rockdale.

The man was then extradited to the ACT and was charged with aggravated robb
