INDIANAPOLIS Nearly 30 miles of underground sewage tunnels are finally complete in Indianapolis.

The project is helping keep waterways like the White River clean and safe to use.

The river is Peter Bloomquists place of healing.

That was a huge impetus of starting Franks. We wanted folks to be able to get out and experience that same thing Ive been blessed to do," Bloomquist said.

He owns Franks Paddlesports Livery, a canoe, kayak and SUP rental company located in Riverside Park.

Hes noticed a difference in the water next to his business in recent years.

Its been transformative. DigIndy section on White River up above and through our area at Franks has been online since 2022," Bloomquist said.
