HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A viewer video sent to ABC13 is raising questions about protocols for bus drivers.
The viewer video shows a student nearly getting hit by a passing Houston Police Department cruiser after getting off the Alief ISD school bus.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon on South Drive in the Alief area.
However, at the time, it shows the flashing lights and stop sign on the bus were not activated.
The man who got this all on video tells ABC13 he also took action by honking and flashing his lights when he saw this unfold and said he thought it could've been worse.
"It could've, it could've. I don't know whether if I was honking - if the police vehicle heard my honking or probably, he saw me flashing my lights that's why he slowed down. But if you take a look at
