TRAVERSE CITY – As colder weather sets in, local leaders stress the importance of continuing to pursue permanent solutions to the region’s chronic homelessness.

This year marked the first that Safe Harbor remained open during summer months. The shelter will resume serving nightly meals for the homeless this Wednesday, Oct. 15, and will remain open throughout the day during weekends.
