FINDLAY — By the end of the first half, the question wasn't whether or not Liberty-Benton would beat Leipsic at home, but rather by how many points.
Turns out that number was 52 as the Eagles jumped out to a 49-point halftime lead to win 52-0 during Friday's Blanchard Valley Conference game against the Vikings.
Future Toledo Rocket Seth Elchert finished with seven receptions for 131 yards and three touchdowns for the Eagles (8-0, 6-0 BVC). His brother, Zach Elchert, rushed for 120 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 12 carries. Quarterback Connor Barbara was nearly perfect under center, going 10 of 12 for 179 yards and three scores.
L-B’s defense forced two turnovers and allowed just 111 yards of offense to Leipsic (7-1, 5-1).
