Eastbound lanes of Interstate 24 north of Nashville are shut down due to a wreck that occurred around 1:37 p.m. on Oct. 10, according to a statement by Tennessee Department of Transportation.
According to the statement posted on social media, eastbound lanes of I-24 at mile marker 42 are closed due to the crash, with a diversion set up at Exit 40.
The road is expected to be reopened around 7 p.m., the spokesperson said.
The statement did not include any details on the wreck, or any potential injuries.
