A free online course has been launched educate the community about the dynamics and warning signs of intimate partner and gender-based violence.

Neighbours, Friends & Families: Understanding & Preventing Intimate Partner & Gender-Based Violence was developed by Western University’s Centre for Research and Education on Violence Against Women and Children.

The course is a partnership between the City of Brantford, Western University and the Brant’s Response Against Violence Everywhere (BRAVE) Committee.

The course explores how to talk to those who may be experiencing intimate partner violence and how to provide them with access to support.
