Should Sarnia continue recycling collection for some non-residential properties for an extra $280,000 a year?

Residents can weigh in on the issue at speakupsarnia.ca/icisurvey before city council considers in November whether to take on the expense next year, or let those recyclables go to waste.

The survey, open until 4:30 p.m. Oct. 29, also asks whether Sarnia should consider expanding collection beyond about 200 industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) properties, said city engineering and operations general manager David Jackson.

“I think most people don’t realize the issue is out there yet . . . so we’re hoping to get as much feedback as possible.”
