Drummer Thommy Price, known for his long tenure with Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and his work with Scandal and Billy Idol, has died at 68, American Songwriter reported .
His wife took to Facebook to share the news. Price died Friday.
“A devoted husband and proud father and powerhouse drummer and songwriter, Thommy’s extraordinary career spanned decades, performing and recording with some of rock’s most iconic artists,” she wrote. “His energy, kindness, humor, and unmatched rhythm left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him and every stage he graced.”
