Returning to the airwaves on Heart Radio this week, the 54-year-old revealed how intervening in a scrap between her 15-year-old moggy Muffy and her new rescue cat from Corfu had gone horribly wrong. ‌

Following the opening credits on her and Jamie Theakston's Breakfast show, Amanda's co-presenter told listeners: "We've had a little bit of an emergency overnight," before asking her to detail what had occurred. ‌
