BOGALUSA, La. (WGNO) — One juvenile is dead after a shooting that occurred off Highway 439 on Friday, Oct. 10, according to Washington Parish Sheriff's Office.

At 6:45 p.m., Washington Parish Deputy Sheriffs and Bogalusa Police Officers responded to a call regarding a shooting that involved two juveniles off Highway 439. According to WPSO, one juvenile was brought to Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in critical condition and later died from his injuries.

The other juvenile involved in the shooting has been identified, and the case is under an active investigation, according to WPSO.
