Radio legend David ‘Diddy’ Hamilton has revealed that he can’t sell his personalised numberplate D1DDY - because of imprisoned rapper P. Diddy . The 86-year-old, who had shows on Radio 1 and Radio 2 - as well as presenting Top of the Pops - said he spend £5,000 on the numberplate in 1990.
He said he used to drive around in a red Mini Cooper with the numberplate on it, but decided not to use it on any of his cars now - because of ‘that Diddy guy in America’. P.
