Oregon wide receiver Malik Benson hauls in a touchdown pass as the Oregon Ducks host the Indiana Hoosiers Oct. 11, 2025, at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon.

For the second time in three weeks, Oregon football will play in a top-7 matchup.

The No. 2 Ducks (5-0, 2-0 Big Ten) earned a 30-24 overtime win over then-No. 2 Penn State on Sept. 27. Following a bye week, Oregon is set to take on No. 7 Indiana (5-0, 2-0) in a Big Ten matchup from Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, on Saturday, Oct. 11.

The winner of Saturday's matchup could set itself up well in both the race for the Big Ten championship and for the College Football Playoff. The Hoosiers are also coming off a bye week, but earned a 20-15 win over Iowa two weeks ago.

Indiana also has an impressive top-25 win on its resume, defeating then-No. 8 Illinois 63-10 on Sept. 20.

The Hoosiers defeated the Ducks 30-24 in their last matchup in 2004 in Eugene. However, the Ducks lead the all-time series 2-1.

Oregon vs Indiana predictions

  • Ehsan Kassim, USA TODAY Sports: Oregon 30, Indiana 24

The Ducks pull off another top-10 win and with a three-touchdown performance from quarterback Dante Moore. The win helps Oregon garner some first-place votes in the polls released on Sunday.

  • Chris Hansen, Eugene Register-Guard: Oregon 34, Indiana 24

"The Ducks have the better 5-0 resume with their win at then-No. 2 Penn State two weeks ago and have also proven capable of beating top-10 teams throughout Lanning's career at Oregon. They won't be overwhelmed by the moment, and playing at Autzen Stadium will certainly help their case. Of the Ducks' 18 consecutive home wins, four have come against teams in the top 25."

  • Michael Niziolek, The Herald-Times: Oregon 31, Indiana 20

"Indiana is going to make this game more competitive than the ones they lost in Columbus and South Bend last year. Much of the discussion around the game has been centered on the quarterback battle between Fernando Mendoza and Dante Moore. They are both worthy of the attention, but I think Indiana's defense will ultimately decide this game."
