MADISON – Madison rode the wave of big play after big play Friday, Oct. 10 to a 37-point lead late in the second quarter, a lead they would never relinquish on the way to a dominant 51-14 win over Blissfield.
Madison controlled both the ground game and the skies, out rushing Blissfield 189-98 and out passing the Royals 212-60. Madison was also extremely efficient on third and fourth down, finishing the game going 4 for 6 on third down and 1-for-1 on fourth down. Blissfield only managed to convert 1 of 10 third down chances, although they were near perfect on fourth down, going 2 for 3.
