CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WV News) — It was big win after big win for WV News at the West Virginia Press Association Advertising Awards ceremony, held Saturday in Charleston.

WV News publications won 116 of 240 Advertising Awards (48.3%) during a strong showing Saturday at the West Virginia Press Association Advertising Awards ceremony.

The Exponent Telegram won 19 Awards, the Weston Democrat 21 Awards, the Mineral Tribune & News 15 Awards, the Jackson Herald Star 17 Awards, the River Cities Tribune & Register 16 Awards, the Record Delta 13 Awards, the Preston News & Journal 10 Awards, and the Mountain Statesman six Awards.

And at the end of the ceremony, WV News publications swept the top spots for General Excellence Awards: The Exponent Telegram, in Division 1; The Weston Democrat, in Divisi
