Glendale-based Arrowhead Little League canceled all practices and games scheduled for this weekend at Foothills Park, 5708 W. Union Hills Drive, due to the stormy weather.

In September, the baseball league put out messages looking for snack shack volunteers, as well as game umpires. To inquire if those opportunities is still available, contact league organizers at info@arrowheadll.com .

The league is in the middle of fall ball, which runs from September through November and is more relaxed. There are no tryouts for teams and this is more of an instructional/recreational season.

Spring ball is competitive and has tryouts. It also feeds into the offical Little League championship in Williamsport, Pa. An Arrowhead Little League team has represeted Arizona in th LLWS before.
