This fall marks the first year of Cub Care at Pine River-Backus Schools, and I’m excited to share that it is off to a great start!

Cub Care is a child-care program for students in grades K–6 that offers before-school, after-school and full-day care on select nonschool days. The mission of Cub Care is to provide each and every child with a safe and welcoming place to play, learn and grow.

Students have already had lots of fun participating in engaging games, crafts and activities, and enjoying daily snacks. They especially look forward to gym games and craft projects each day.
