Tens of thousands of pro-Palestine protestors descended on London to mark two years since the war in Gaza began.
The demonstration came the day after a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas came into effect, and almost 10 days after the attack at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue.
Calls for restraint were made following the attack in which two people were killed, with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer urging protesters to “respect the grief of British Jews”.
Placards on display showed messages including "it’s not a crime to act against genocide" and “Starmer has blood on his hands, free Palestine”.
