HERRIN, Ill. (KFVS) - Three men are facing charges after a traffic stop on Thursday morning.

Deputies with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office reportedly stopped a vehicle without a license plate or temporary registration on S. Park Ave. in Herrin, a little after 6:30 a.m. on October 9.

A Herrin Police Department K-9 Unit arrived and provided a positive alert to illegal narcotics.

The deputies searched the vehicle and found drug packaging materials containing residue, which field-tested positive for methamphetamine. They also found Suboxone and Alprazolam, as well as other drug paraphernalia.

Authorities identified the driver as Paul S. Puckett, as well as two passengers as Jason L. Price and Jeffrey D. Farris.
