Savannah Guthrie says she and husband Mike Feldman have not given their children personal cell phones yet.

The 53-year-old Today host told E! News that their kids— Vale , 11, and Charley , 8— aren’t permitted phones while attending Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Gala in New York City on Thursday (October 9).

While she admits her children “want all of that stuff,” Savannah hopes to “hold off as long as possible” so they can have a childhood free of social media.

For now, Vale is allowed to borrow her mom’s phone to call friends, but only after signing a phone “contract.”
