Jessica De Filippo scored at the 10-minute mark and the Vancouver Rise picked up a crucial 1-0 road win over the host Montreal Roses on Northern Super League action Saturday.

Vancouver won on the road against another playoff-bound team for the second time this week after defeating the Ottawa Rapid 2-0 on Wednesday.
